This is a student project that I made over the course of four weeks, spending a rough average of 20-30 hours per week. I modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush (for the diorama base), made textures in Substance Painter, and did the assembly, materials, lighting, and rendering in Unreal.
I learned much about Unreal's materials and how to build them using nodes. Math... In addition, I gained a deeper understanding of the pipeline of creating even a small scene.
